The Department of Special Education (VI) offers both B.Ed and D.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) Courses with an intake capacity of 30 students in each course and two years of study duration. The department of special education (Visual Impairment) aim to gain knowledge about the changes in the current and emerging society of India in view of recent trends and advancement in the education of children with low vision and visual impairment. The department is also dedicated to identify the special requirements and needs of children with visual impairment and make them confident to understand their hidden skills, talent and abilities which would contribute to the development of India. The main aim and objective of the department is to develop skilled manpower to cater to the needs of children with visual impairment.
